  Consuming vegetables and fruits is one of the greatest and healthier things that you can do for your health.

But, did you know that there are some foods, such as rhubarb, potato, parts of an apple that we use every day and may seriously harm our health? Therefore, we should be very cautious during cooking and consummation.


You should always open your eyes when you plan to eat this delicious food:

  1. Mushrooms
If you collect mushrooms, remember that about 5 percent of them are poisonous. 

  1. Rhubarb
Rhubarb is poisonous because the green leaves contain oxalic acids. By consuming this, you can get kidney stones. By eating large quantity the outcome can be fatal. 

  1. Beans
Contain large amount of toxin lectin. The lectin in the plants serves as a kind of primitive protection, similar to antibodies in humans. But, only three non cooked grains of beans can cause diarrhea and vomiting. 

  1. Tomatoes
Because of the stem, the leaves and the green portion have tomatine toxin. It is commonly used as a poison for insects. 

  1. Apples
Their seeds contain cyanide. Eating in large quantity may lead to vomiting. 

  1. Potato
When the potato is green, it contains a large amount of glikoalkaloid. Deaths from such poisoning are rare, but have been observed. 

  1. Cherries
The cherries seeds contain cyanide. If you swallowed, you will have vomit, have trouble breathing and slow work of the kidney.

  1. Fugu fish
It is a Japanese specialty which can lead to paralysis and death. The cooks learn how to prepare Fugu fish from two to three years.

  1. Brazilian nuts
This is food with the highest level of natural radioactivity, even 1,000 times more than in any other food.
